Redcar and Kirkleatham
Redcar itself has a mix of Victorian and Edwardian houses near the front and well-kept 1930s and later homes further back, many with gardens that feel the wind off the sea. Kirkleatham and Dormanstown sit just inland.
Marske and New Marske
Marske-by-the-Sea has plenty of comfortable detached and semi-detached homes from the 1960s to the 1990s, often with open, exposed gardens where a composite deck with a glass screen works well. New Marske, up the hill, has newer homes with views across to the coast.
Saltburn-by-the-Sea
Saltburn is known for its tall Victorian villas and terraces, much of it within a conservation area, and for steep, characterful gardens. Raised and multi-level decks, and decks in warm composite or hardwood, suit it well.
Guisborough and East Cleveland
Guisborough is a historic market town with stone and brick houses and larger modern homes on its edges, many with views up to the hills. We also cover Skelton, Brotton and Loftus.
